One Plate at a time: a vision to nourish and nurture children in great need
A sustainable farm project by OnePlate
Each year, approximately 45 million young children worldwide experience hunger and severe malnutrition.
To address this critical issue, the global charity OnePlate collaborates with food enthusiasts, chefs, cafés, and restaurants to fund sustainable food projects in Africa and Asia, transforming the hospitality industry into a force for positive impact.
Currently, OnePlate supports over 30 diverse projects across the Philippines, Cambodia, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and Rwanda. These initiatives range from rooftop gardens in burgeoning urban areas to aquaculture farms, fruit and nut orchards, vegetable gardens, livestock operations, seed banks, beekeeping projects, avocado orchards, and mushroom cultivation.
By empowering local communities to establish sustainable food initiatives, OnePlate aims to foster self-sufficiency and create lasting change that benefits children in need.
Empowering Foodies to Make a Difference Through Food Culture
